1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Savor ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Savor is a wellness app that assesses your body constitution according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles and provides a personalized daily habit plan, reminders, TCM-based food analysis, and a lock-screen almanac widget. The App provides educational information only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Savor. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activities that occur under your account.
5. Use of Our Services
Our services are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may not use the services for any commercial purpose, including but not limited to:
- Reselling, renting, leasing, or otherwise monetizing the services or any part of them
- Copying, reproducing, modifying, or distributing any portion of the services for commercial gain
- Using the services in any way that generates revenue or provides a competitive advantage to a business
You may not, under any circumstances, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code, underlying algorithms, or proprietary technology of our services.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
Savor offers optional paid subscriptions through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.
7. Your Information
The information you provide — such as your TCM body constitution results, profile detail, food logs and food photos — is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. User-Generated Content & AI Data Processing
You retain full ownership of all content you create in Savor, including your food logs, entries, and photos. By using the App, you grant Savor a limited licence to store, process, transmit, and display your content solely as necessary to provide and improve the Savor service.
9. TCM-Based Food Analysis Feature
When you use the TCM-based food analysis feature, the following data is securely sent to Supabase first, and then forwarded to our third-party AI providers (Google AI and/or Alibaba Cloud AI) for processing:
- Your food image (base64 encoded)
- Your TCM body constitution results
- Your personalised settings
AI service providers do not permanently store your images and data. The images are used exclusively for TCM analysis and are discarded after processing.
When you save a food log, Savor stores the photo securely in Supabase with row-level security, linked only to your account for seamless cross-device sync and easy restore.
10. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon deletion, all your data stored on our servers (including your TCM body constitution results, profile detail, food logs and food photos) will be permanently removed.
11. Limitation of Liability
Savor is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of your constitution results or any health-related information. In no event shall Savor be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and defend Savor and its affiliates against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your access to or use of the App, or your breach of these Terms.
13. Termination and Modification
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
